Recipe of the Week: 2030 FastTrack Jamaican Jerk Chicken

This week’s recipe brings warm, spicy, sweet and deliciously smoky flavors to tantalize your tastebuds.
Using allspice, cinnamon, thyme and cloves this chicken recipe will fit right into your 2030 FastTrack program from day 1 and continue to be a favorite for years to come!


  • 1/4 cup chopped white onion
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 8 oz. chicken breast


Combine the first 7 ingredients in a blender and puree to form a smooth, think paste. Using gloves rub the jerk seasoning onto both sides of the chicken breasts. Refrigerate and marinate overnight.

Preheat the grill to 400 degrees season each chicken breasts with coarse sea salt. Cook 5 to 7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
